Each year, over 100 SoleMate charity athletes fundraise for Girls on the Run NYC while training for the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon or the TCS New York City Marathon. Registration to join the GOTR NYC SoleMates Team for the 2024 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon is live on our website. As in past years, we anticipate being a Charity Partner with New York Road Runners for the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon and we aim to offer guaranteed entry spots into this exciting race to SoleMates who commit to fundraise for our organization. 2024 SoleMate Details

Go on a training journey with Girls on the Run NYC as a SoleMate in 2024! Raise funds to allow us to inspire confidence and joy in more girls while you train for an iconic New York City race. You will receive the support of our SoleMates Committee, staff, and community partners!

Currently, more than 80% of the girls in our program receive financial assistance to participant–SoleMates make this possible. Funds raised by SoleMates allow these girls the opportunity to participate in our life-changing program—empowering them to be confident, healthy, and joyful. Your support will help us maintain our commitment to serve all girls, regardless of financial need.

Fundraise
As in past years, we anticipate being a Charity Partner with New York Road Runners for the 2024 TCS NYC Marathon, and we aim to offer guaranteed entry spots into this exciting race to SoleMates who commit to fundraise for our organization. As we have updates, we will reach out to our waitlists with next steps for registration. Your commitment will get you guaranteed entry into the 2024 New York City Marathon and support the girls we serve in our upcoming season—including their 5k experience, supportive materials like sneakers, and all the tools & materials their team needs to learn and grow together.

Own Entry SoleMates

Have your own entry for the 2024 New York City Half Marathon and/or 2024 New York City Marathon? You can join our SoleMates team and fundraise for our program even if you already have guaranteed entry into the race! More information will be posted later in the year. You are not held to a fundraising commitment if you have your own entry.
